How To Make
Remove pouch from sealed packaging. Add pouch to 4.5 cups of water. Bring to a rigorous boil for 5 minutes and reduce heat to a light boil for about 30 minutes, or until reduced by half.
Remove from heat and let cool. Once cooled, use two large spoons, or hands to squeeze the remaining syrup from the pouch. Once syrup is extracted, you can discard the pouch.
Strain the liquid into large bowl using a fine strainer or use cheese cloth. This removes any small herbs that may have escaped the pouch.
Stir in 12 oz (weight) or 1 cup of honey (not included in kit). Raw local honey is recommended.
Store in a glass bottle or jar in the refrigerator. Use within three months.

Elderberry Syrup:
We recommend 1 tablespoon daily for adults, and 1 teaspoon daily for children over one to help boost the immune system year round.
If you are feeling sick, increase dosage to 1-2 tablespoons every 3-4 hours (for children over one use 1-2 teaspoons).
Elderberry Tincture:
We recommend 0.5 mL for 20-49 lbs, 0.75 mL for 50-90 lbs, and 1-2 mL for over 100 lbs.
